Join Our Summer Team at Field Hockey Alberta!
Field Hockey Alberta is looking for passionate, energetic individuals to join our team for the summer season! If you love field hockey and want to gain hands-on experience working in sport, this is an incredible opportunity to get involved.
As a member of our summer team, you’ll work in a supportive and fast-paced environment while gaining experience across many areas of sport operations. Our summer staff play an important role in helping us grow the game across the province.
What you’ll be involved in:
• Delivering school programs and introducing field hockey to new athletes
• Supporting activities at the Sport Hub
• Assisting with coaching and athlete development within our junior programs, including CJFH leagues, events, and summer camps
• Supporting major festivals and tournaments, including National Championships, the Lacombe Festival, Calgary Festival, and the Canada Day Masters Festival
• Administrative support, including equipment organization, website updates, and general office operations
• Creating and managing social media content across TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook
• Assisting with event coordination, fundraising initiatives, and community engagement
Who should apply?
We’re looking for individuals with a strong background in field hockey who are enthusiastic about growing the sport. Whether you’re a university student, recent graduate, or someone with relevant experience, we encourage you to apply.
Locations:
Positions are available in Calgary, Edmonton, Red Deer, Medicine Hat, and other regional locations across Alberta.
