Happy Holidays from Field Hockey Alberta!

 

The indoor schedule for 2012 has been posted on the FHA website.  Training will resume on January 6th in Edmonton and in Calgary on January 14th.   U18 boy’s & Girl’s, U15 boy’s programs continue, while U15 girl’s, Senior Women & Senior Men’s programs all start in the New Year.   Please click here for the schedule and more details.

 

London Bound- Wendy Stewart to Umpire at 2012 Olympic Games

Wendy Stewart has been selected to Umpire at the FIH 2012 Champions Trophy in Argentina (January 28 – February 5) and at the 2012 Olympic Games in London (July 27 – August 12).  She has also recently been promoted to the FIH Umpiring World Panel.


Field Hockey Alberta would like to congratulate Wendy on her recent achievements and thank her for all of her hard work and contributions to our organization!

 

 

Scarborough Cup 2011

Congratulations to all those athletes, coaches and managers that competed at the Scarborough Cup Dec 9-11, 2011. FHA is extremely proud of the performances by Team Alberta and congratulates the U18 boy’s and  U13 boy’s for their respective Gold and Bronze medal winning finishes.  The U18 girl’s team played some top competition landing a fifth place finish.

FHA will be running a Field Hockey tournament for U16 boys & girls February 18th-19th.

Alberta Cup Tournament
FHA will be running a U19 women’s, senior women and senior men’s tournament on March 2nd-4th.
