Indoor Alberta Cup 2011

Volunteers Needed - Various Tournaments Hosted by FHA in 2011
We are looking to recruit volunteers for the three major events FHA is hosting in 2011. These include the following events: Prairie Youth Games - Indoor (Feb 11th - 13th), Indoor Alberta Cup (Mar 11th - 13th). We are looking for the following: technical table volunteers, tournament clothing sale table workers, tournament setup & takedown volunteers, tournament umpires, tecnical officials & volunteer coordinators. If you are at all interested in volunteering for one or all of the events FHA is hosting, please contact the FHA office via email stating the event and position you are interested in. • Location - Talisman Centre, Calgary, Alberta
• Who - provincial teams and club teams from across Canada
• Athlete Eligibility - U19 to senior age group, all athletes must be members of Field Hockey Alberta or of their respective PSOs in order to participate in this event
• Tournament Format:
  • Two divisions, one for each gender
  • Two pools of 4 in each division
  • Winners of each division will receive a cheque for $800
• Tournament Entry Fee: $800

Tournament Deadlines & Registration
We currently have space for eight men's teams and eight women's teams. Registration is first come, first served. As teams register for this event we will be posting the teams on this sight along with their complete rosters.

Registration (submission of the Entry Form & Tournament Levy) Deadline - February 11th, 2011

• Please fill in the Entry Form and return to the FHA office via mail, email or fax
• Registration is complete upon receiving the full $800 tournament levy
• The registration form must also be received by Field Hockey Alberta by the deadline

Roster Submission Deadline - February 18th, 2011

• Please fill in the Roster Form and return to the FHA office via mail, email or fax
• Teams will receive the final tournament schedule once tournament rosters have been submitted
• All players on the team roster must be members of Field Hockey Alberta or members of another PSO in Canada in order to be eligible to play in this event (payment can be made online for each member who needs to register prior to the event)
