Didsbury Field Hockey
Funstix Field Hockey (Ages 6-10)
This co-ed program introduces the sport of field hockey where basic skills are taught through FUN drills and mini-games. Players will work to develop teamwork, cross train for ice hockey, fine-tune hand-eye coordination and accuracy! The Funstix program is based on the fundamentals of field hockey. It is designed to introduce kids to the non-contact, fast-paced, skillful and above all, FUN sport of Field Hockey.
Athletes will need shin pads, socks, water bottle, and mouth guards.
Practice/Scrimmage:
Cost of the Didsbury Funstix Spring program is $60 if renting a stick and $100 if you'd like a new stick with registration. Both costs include the Field Hockey Alberta membership of $40.
