Calgary Junior Field Hockey (CJFH) is an equal partnership between the Calgary Ladies Field Hockey Association (CLFHA, Ladies League), Field Hockey Association of Calgary (FHAC, Mens League) and Field Hockey Alberta (FHA). CJFH delivers grassroots programming and leagues to Calgary youth between the ages of six and sixteen, regardless of skill level.
Our goal is to deliver a fun experience where kids have the opportunity to make new friends, develop personal skills and create a life long love of sport. We plan our programs around Field Hockey Canada's Long Term Hockey Development framework and the Coach Association of Canada's (CAC) Long Term Athlete Development guidelines to ensure appropriate physical and developmental needs are met for all children. We are an athlete focused program ready to adapt the needs of each child.
The safety of your child is our primary responsibility. Our coaches are screened and have completed athlete specific training, including: Ethics, Concussion Awareness and CAC Safesport. We follow the Rule of Two and ensure small athlete to coach ratios tailored to the age of your child.
