The Executive is responsible for:

1. the operation of the Society in accordance with these By-Laws.
2. the day-to-day business of the Society working with the professional staff;
3. the development and recommendation of policy to the membership and the implementation and ongoing evaluation of such policy;
4. the establishment of special committees;
5. the review of major financial matters and the approval of an annual operating budget; and
6. the exercise of such other authority as may be delegated by the members at an Annual, General or Special General Meeting.

AFHA Officers:

1. President, VP Administration, VP Finance and one other VP appointed by the Executive at their first meeting following all Annual General Meetings
